In 2020 Varlamov became the youngest photographer in the history of Harper's Bazaar to shoot the magazine's main cover with supermodel Daphne Groeneveld. He has also photographed Anya Taylor-Joy, Maye Musk, Leni Klum, Rosie Park, Alton Mason, and Mona Matsuoka - among many others. Having studied dance, Varlamov is adept at suggesting movement and poise, and having been a photographer from early on, he knows his way around composition and vivid colors as well as high-impact black and white.
